Renault Trucks returns to Freight in the City Expo at Alexandra Palace, London on 6th November 2018, to launch the new Master Z.E., the first vehicle to the UK market in its all-electric line up from 3.1 tonne to 26 tonne.

Visitors to Stand V01 will see a Renault Trucks Master Z.E. L2H2 panel van, part of a family of six variants all at 3.1 tonne GVW offering operators a payload of over one tonne.  This all-electric vehicle is the perfect solution for professionals working in urban environments, even in the most regulated cities.  It is ideally suited to any urban operation including last-mile deliveries and offers a real cost-effective and environmentally-friendly alternative to diesel. 

Available in three wheelbases and two roof heights or as a platform cab option to meet a wide and diverse variety of applications through Renault Trucks ‘Ready for Business’ range, the Renault Trucks Master Z.E. delivers up to 23m3* load volume and a payload of 1094kgs.

To protect both the driver and the load and to promote the safety of vulnerable road users, the Renault Trucks Master Z.E. is fitted with a reversing camera, a reversing radar and a wide-view mirror as standard. The vehicle also features the Z.E. voice alert system designed to warn pedestrians that the vehicle is approaching when it is travelling at speeds of between 1 and 30 km/h (up to 19mph).

The Renault Trucks Master Z.E. belongs to the new family of all-electric commercial vehicle solutions up to 26-tonnes GVW, which also features the Renault Trucks D Z.E and the Renault Trucks D Wide Z.E.

Also making its début on stand V01 is the low-entry Renault Trucks Master Urban Chiller platform cab with a Solomon single compartment chiller body, capable of carrying four pallets and controlled by the latest generation, ultra-efficient Thermo King refrigeration unit.  Matched to a 145ps Euro-6 engine, this vehicle boasts low emissions and excellent loading characteristics; it is also available as the new Renault Trucks Master Z.E. platform cab chassis.

Part of Renault Trucks’ ‘Ready for Business’ range, the new Renault Trucks Master Urban Chiller vehicle is ideal for food service, pharmaceuticals, horticulture and specialist materials operating in congested urban situations..
